Chhabra Osteopathy was established in 1995 in Wimbledon, South West London by registered osteopath Kieran Chhabra, who has a keen interest in the treatment of sports injuries. Kieran was joined at the original clinic in Wimbledon by Emily his wife, who has a special interest in the treatment of pregnant women and children.

We now boast a team of five osteopaths, having seen steady growth since 1995 and are now proud to offer 3 sites for patients to be seen for osteopathy and sports injury appointments in Wimbledon, Woking and Hinchley Wood.

Our Team

Kieran Chhabra

kieran-chhabra1Kieran began training as an osteopath over 20 years ago and qualified through the world famous British School of Osteopathy in London where he is now also a senior lecturer - regularly speaking at various osteopathic colleges throughout Europe. Since graduating, with his Honours degree, Kieran has followed his passion for travel and looking after sports people, by working overseas in Auckland, New Zealand, and also in the ski fields of Courchevel in the French Alps. Kieran’s interest in the treatment of sports related injuries comes from his own interest in sport. He competes in IronMan events, adventure races, triathlons, still struggles around a football pitch and is now developing the rugby skills of children at his local club in Cobham, Surrey. Kieran is a member of the National Back Pain Association.

Kieran practices from all three clinic locations, in Wimbledon, Hinchley Wood and Woking.

Carlo Dore

carloCarlo trained and qualified through the renowned British School of Osteopathy in London and practices both Cranial Osteopathy and Structural Osteopathic techniques. He has over 10 years experience diagnosing and treating musculo-skeletal complaints. His attraction to osteopathy was a logical progression from his work as a Personal Fitness Consultant in the Health & Fitness industry and his background and interest in core strength conditioning complements his osteopathic approach. The birth of his own children naturally encouraged his interest in cranio- sacral therapy. Carlo is registered with the General Osteopathic Council, the governing body of Osteopathy, and the Institute of Osteopathy (formerly known as the British Osteopathic Association). Like all our practitioners, he holds comprehensive insurance.

Edward Bateman

Ed graduated from the prestigious British School of Osteopathy in London in 2013. Additionally to his Masters in Osteopathy he has undertaken postgraduate study in medical acupuncture (British Medical Acupuncture Society), Pilates (mat work), myofascial release (Functional Patterns) and function movement analysis (Gray Institute – 3DMAPS®).

In his approach he uses a combination of these different elements to tailor treatments to help alleviate patient’s symptoms and generate a rehabilitation plan to help limit future issues. His aim is to help your body get back on track as soon as possible! This in turn allows you to regain confidence in movements and return to normal function, reducing the development of compensatory patterns and other knock on issues. A key factor in recovering from dysfunction is providing patients with as much education about their issue as possible. Empowering you to understand what is going on and help your own recovery and to limit as much dependence on the therapist as possible. By doing this Ed provides you with hands on treatment when needed and gives you ‘homework’ and coping strategies to help keep you moving and functioning.

Ed is fully registered and a member of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), Institute of Osteopathy (iO) and British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS).

Ed works at our Wimbledon clinic on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
